toshiba theaterview

Please help. I have this Toshiba Theaterview tv model TP50H15 we were told it just needed fuses is there more?

we were told it just needed fuses is there more than one or two fuses in the tv.
I have no clue about TV's.

Usually there are two fuses, one in the Low Voltage Power Supply, near where the Power Cord is connected to the Circuit Board.Then there is a second fuse in the high voltage power supply section.With the back off of the set you should be able to find a label somewhere that indicates where the fuses are, and their ratings in volts and amps.Usually they are small glass fuses about a 1/2 " long.Just make sure you have the set unplugged when you check your fuses.If you do have bad fuses make sure you put back the same value as what came out.And look closely at the fuses.If they are blown all the way across inside, and you see a blackened outline, there is probably a dead short somewhere.If it's just a small break and you can still see the wire inside the fuse, then replacing it might cure it.To get more insight, go to http://www.manualsonline.com and enter your TV Brand and Model Number and see what comes up.Hope this helps !
